Heating Co is going to revolutionize the heating industry by cutting fuel bills in half they say According to the pair Doyle a building contrac tor from Massachusetts and Robbins a business man from Jay all the customer has to do is load 70 pounds of shelled corn into the self feed ing hopper fire it up adjust the controls and sit back and enjoy warm comfortable heat for the next 48 hours Those 48 hours of heat based on shelled corn prices at $450 for a 50 pound bag will cost the con sumer $6 Monthly heat bills based on those figures would come to $90 or more But according to Doyle there are going to be days when turning the Dovetec up to half flame going to be necessary so monthly heat bills shouldn't cost more than $70 And there are many other advantages to burning shelled corn than just lowering heating bills accord ing to Robbins i need a chimney with our stove All you need is a 6 inch vent through the said Robbins a fan inside the vent that sucks in air and one that takes out any smoke But there real ly any smoke And there any creosote build up Installation of the Dovtec heater Is also another plus for the homeowner according to Robbins The clearance rating allows it to be installed near a wall without worry had one of the stoves going full tilt and put ft my hand right on the back of it and there was no problem It hot at said Robbins Because his stoves burn creosote
