Those who already know about this Bath-based rock group are in for a real surprise. With two albums that have already competed in the Grammys, and a third on the way this year, Hollowbody Electric Band is blessed with two exceptional songwriters who cover a range of styles from classic to indie rock. The band has a long-time re- lationship with the Chocolate Church. Jennifer DeChant, executive director, said lowbody Electric Band is one of our favorite local groups.

They have a full sound and will get the crowd dancing. In past years the Mudboots and Black Tie gala has fea- tured small dinner gatherings at the homes of Chocolate Church board members and supporters, after which every- one would get together for a dance party. But this year is different, with the entire pro- gram taking place in the audi- torium of the Hyde School.
